The supporters of Dallas Stars booed when Real Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Abrams didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Lewis Brooks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dallas Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Brooks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Cobi Fairchild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Cobi Fairchild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Bazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lewis Brooks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dwight Scales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lewis Brooks in the 61st minute of play forced Real Angels's goalkeeper Dwight Scales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lewis Brooks fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dallas Stars's protests and gave Lewis Brooks a yellow card for diving instead. Dallas Stars's Rafal Bazan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Dallas Stars from getting a goal against them. Dallas Stars's attentive Seth Cadena managed to snatch the ball when Renaldo Duarte made a throw-in in the 74th minute of the game. Lewis Brooks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Lewis Brooks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwight Scales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dallas Stars's Otto Glover got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jan-Olof Karlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwight Scales having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jan-Olof Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dallas Stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Olof Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dwight Scales breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scotty Bonner's late challenge caught a Dallas Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Scotty Bonner helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Dallas Stars booed when Real Angels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scotty Bonner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dallas Stars walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
