Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5250, Seating: 1610, VIP seats: 140) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gavin Quintero kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Bay Breakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gavin Quintero came free, but Palmer Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Miguel Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chino Hills's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Miguel Romero scored to the left of an out of position J.P. Britton, making the score, 2-0. Palmer Dubois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavin Quintero in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Chino Hills's goalkeeper J.P. Britton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Doss. Warren Joyce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Palmer Dubois having to make a save. In the 30th minute, Gavin Quintero made a precise shot to the right of Palmer Dubois. Bay Breakers FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Wesley Shepard hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Chino Hills's Sid Driscoll couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bay Breakers FC. 38 minutes into the match, Bay Breakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Joyce came free, but Palmer Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Romero struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. J.P. Britton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bay Breakers FC. In the 44th minute, Sebastian Doss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Romero in the 48th minute of play forced Chino Hills's goalkeeper J.P. Britton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Chino Hills's J.P. Britton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Romero in the 52nd minute of play. If Miguel Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ben Gunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.P. Britton having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Miguel Romero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. J.P. Britton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Romero in the 74th minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match Gerry Wong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but J.P. Britton showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Doss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. J.P. Britton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Avery hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Chino Hills's zone, Sebastian Doss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. J.P. Britton came out of the goal and Sebastian Doss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Sebastian Doss had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of J.P. Britton. Chino Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastian Doss was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Bay Breakers FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
