Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Charles Berry made the kick off which started today's match. Gilberto Good hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Charles Berry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Len Denton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 17 minutes, Charles Berry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dimmitt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charles Berry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro Berg struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Len Denton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dimmitt. Charles Berry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Charles Berry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Len Denton came out of the goal and Charles Berry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute, Landon Gonzales sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Barcelona's Len Denton didn't even have to move. Charles Berry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Len Denton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Len Denton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Berg, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Berry in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Len Denton saved FC Barcelona from getting behind. A collision led to Dimmitt getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Weston Kidd hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristofer Carlton in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanford Rowley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's Andreas Sheets sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanford Rowley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ramiro Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Len Denton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kristofer Carlton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanford Rowley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristofer Carlton in the 72nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimmitt's Ramiro Berg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Len Denton. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ramiro Berg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dimmitt's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Berg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Len Denton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st match minute, FC Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Covington to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Charles Berry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th of the match, Charles Berry tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Len Denton got in the way and made a wonderful save. After 94 played minutes FC Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Mario Christensen. Dimmitt's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
