Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timothy Hood started the match with the kick off. Clinton Barry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothy Hood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pemberton Heights's Kip Fritz got control of the ball when Leland Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Connor Coronado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Connor Coronado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beverly Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Connor Coronado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Palmer Vasquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Beverly Hills's Renato Cramer got a free kick in the 19th minute. If Timothy Hood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Pemberton Heights's Kip Fritz got control of the ball when Leland Delgado tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Hood in the 23rd minute of play forced Beverly Hills's goalkeeper Clinton Barry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timothy Hood in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clinton Barry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palmer Vasquez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clinton Barry having to make a save. A collision led to Beverly Hills getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Willard Crowell hit a great ball. Palmer Vasquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pemberton Heights's zone, Leland Delgado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kip Fritz came out of the goal and Leland Delgado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beverly Hills's Clinton Barry played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Hood in the 36th minute of play. When Gordon Sweet fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beverly Hills's protests and gave Gordon Sweet a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th match minute, Beverly Hills was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Sweet to maneuver through the defense. Gordon Sweet hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pemberton Heights's Vance Chu tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Beverly Hills got a freekick which was hit by Willard Crowell.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Connor Coronado to make the kick off. Timothy Hood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 62nd minute Connor Coronado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kip Fritz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, Leland Delgado notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pemberton Heights's Kip Fritz. Kip Fritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st match minute, Pemberton Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by German Holman to maneuver through the defense. Kip Fritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leland Delgado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Beverly Hills booed when Pemberton Heights was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachery Potter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kip Fritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Connor Coronado, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Palmer Vasquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Clinton Barry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daryl Carrier during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Daryl Carrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pemberton Heights's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
