Bellefonte AFC's Jamal De La Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Escobedo in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes, Gibson AFC's Rodrigo Pugh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jamal De La Cruz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gibson AFC reached it. When Dario Doran came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Gibson AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Doran couldn't finish the play. If Eldon Barrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rocky Escobedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rocky Escobedo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jamal De La Cruz saved Bellefonte AFC from getting behind. Gibson AFC's Rocky Escobedo got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Pugh hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Bellefonte AFC's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 41st minute of the game, when Christian Sherwood after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Gibson AFC's goal. Christian Sherwood was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Salgado lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Cyrus Mueller. After 47 played minutes Shannon Velazquez rounded Gibson AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. After the first half Gibson AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gibson AFC's Cyrus Mueller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathan Mueller in the 53rd minute of play. Bellefonte AFC's Jamal De La Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Bellefonte AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Rocky Escobedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jamal De La Cruz was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Gibson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shannon Velazquez came free, but Cyrus Mueller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Gibson AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Rose to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Giuseppe Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 minutes of play, Gibson AFC's Rocky Escobedo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jamal De La Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nathan Mueller's late challenge caught a Gibson AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Mueller helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Bellefonte AFC's Nathan Mueller got a free kick in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Escobedo in the 71st minute of play forced Bellefonte AFC's goalkeeper Jamal De La Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shannon Velazquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cyrus Mueller read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Cyrus Mueller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nathan Mueller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Rocky Escobedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jamal De La Cruz, 2-5. Rocky Escobedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jamal De La Cruz having to interfere. Jamal De La Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocky Escobedo in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Gibson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shannon Velazquez came free, but Cyrus Mueller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Shannon Velazquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes, Bellefonte AFC's Christian Sherwood shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cyrus Mueller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bellefonte AFC reached it. Dario Doran kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Gibson AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
