Shelby Christian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Kaiser having to interfere. Bradly Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Kaiser having to interfere. Shelby Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. George Kaiser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Lex FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Rodriquez to maneuver through the defense. Lex FC's George Kaiser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shelby Christian in the 24th minute of play. If Yong Crawford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradly Moreno in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Kaiser prevented the ball from getting in the gole. George Kaiser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shelby Christian, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Yong Crawford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shelby Christian struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. George Kaiser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coraopolis. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradly Moreno to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Coraopolis's Bradly Moreno ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind George Kaiser. George Kaiser yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Shelby Christian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute Yong Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrad Farley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Newsome during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. George Kaiser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
