Adrian Eldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Lefler in the 7th minute of the match. A collision led to Fort Shawnee getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Whitney Doherty hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fort Shawnee's Homer Pagan got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Ahmed Izturis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Christopher FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmed Izturis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Eldridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 played minutes Christopher FC got a freekick which was hit by Foster Lockett. Trevor Ng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Art Jenkins in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Winston Courtney in the 24th minute of play forced Christopher FC's goalkeeper Trevor Ng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moises Henson's late challenge caught a Fort Shawnee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Henson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Christopher FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moises Henson hit a great ball. If Winston Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Winston Courtney came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Fort Shawnee fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Winston Courtney couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute, Winston Courtney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Lefler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adrian Eldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Angelo Lefler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fort Shawnee's Adrian Eldridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Merle Beltre hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Ahmed Izturis came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Christopher FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Izturis couldn't finish the play. Homer Pagan kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Adrian Eldridge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmed Izturis in the 41st minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Art Jenkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Shawnee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Jenkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Christopher FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Ruff to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Winston Courtney was the one to do the kick off. Art Jenkins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Trevor Ng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Eldridge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmed Izturis in the 56th minute of the match. Adrian Eldridge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmed Izturis, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Christopher FC's Ahmed Izturis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Eldridge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After having played for 64 minutes, Art Jenkins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fort Shawnee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Jenkins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute Art Jenkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trevor Ng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Winston Courtney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trevor Ng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Art Jenkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmed Izturis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Adrian Eldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, one of Fort Shawnee:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fort Shawnee. Adrian Eldridge was a little too slow when Ahmed Izturis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 91st minute. The score was now 1-3. Fort Shawnee's Winston Courtney got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Lefler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Adrian Eldridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christopher FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
