Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eliseo Heath made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 played minutes Virginia settlers got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Cho. Lincoln Melvin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quintin Nichols. Virginia settlers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 6 minutes, Dario Burns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Statesboro Impact and the Virginia settlers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Dario Burns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Alex Crandall in the 12th minute really tested Stanford Magee's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. J.C. Wilkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Stanford Magee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, J.C. Wilkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virginia settlers's supporters rose to their feet, but J.C. Wilkinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stanford Magee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Burns in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintin Nichols saved Virginia settlers from getting behind. If J.C. Wilkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanford Magee didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from J.C. Wilkinson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dario Burns's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintin Nichols read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Quintin Nichols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephan Stein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Eliseo Heath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanford Magee saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. J.C. Wilkinson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanford Magee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Statesboro Impact's Stanford Magee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Heath in the 38th minute of play. When Andre Munson fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Statesboro Impact's protests and gave Andre Munson a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave Virginia settlers a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alex Crandall, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Statesboro Impact's Stanford Magee. 2-0. In the 45th minute, Stephan Stein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. J.C. Wilkinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Stanford Magee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 61st minute, Eliseo Heath ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanford Magee was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 69 minutes into the match, Statesboro Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Heath came free, but Stanford Magee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseo Heath in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanford Magee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Statesboro Impact was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duncan Carmona to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling J.C. Wilkinson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanford Magee prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlando Cho hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Lincoln Melvin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Stephan Stein received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Quintin Nichols tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Heath blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanford Magee having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Eliseo Heath managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virginia settlers's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Heath was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
