Spectators: 6252 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Denny Winters kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Valdez's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Cobb came free, but Dalton Herget reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denny Winters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Dalton Herget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Valdez's zone, Denny Winters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalton Herget came out of the goal and Denny Winters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roberto McNamara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryce Rector scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvis Chavez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalton Herget showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denny Winters in the 28th minute of the match. 1-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Denny Winters elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Bryce Rector had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Scaloneta FC's Norberto Cobb got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dalton Herget took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Winters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39thth minute of the game Denny Winters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdez's Dalton Herget was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Nelson Garza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Scaloneta FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valdez the free kick. A collision led to La Scaloneta FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Nelson Garza hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bryce Rector stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta FC's Norberto Cobb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dalton Herget narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta FC's Philip Harris got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Kasey Molina sped through La Scaloneta FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elvis Chavez. In the 61st minute Denny Winters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalton Herget saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalton Herget showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Winters, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Norberto Cobb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dalton Herget tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalton Herget made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denny Winters in the 77th minute of play. After having played for 82 minutes, Denny Winters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denny Winters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Valdez's goalkeeper Dalton Herget had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Cobb. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Denny Winters in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalton Herget prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 minutes, Austin Sinclair mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Scaloneta FC and the Valdez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Austin Sinclair hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Scaloneta FC's goalkeeper Elvis Chavez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 93 played minutes Valdez got a freekick which was hit by Levi Hadley. When the referee blew the final whistle, Valdez could leave the field as winners, despite La Scaloneta FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
