Anthony Stark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy Bellamy, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Teddy Bellamy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Anthony Stark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Reinaldo Tanner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallahassee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Tanner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teddy Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Stark having to interfere. Anthony Stark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeff Arthur in the 16th minute of play. Reinaldo Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Tallahassee FC's Travis Bauman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Stark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anthony Stark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Bellamy in the 21st minute of play. When Gustavo Keyes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Tallahassee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Keyes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Tallahassee FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Teddy Bellamy hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the game, Zackary Hare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Joaquin Fujieda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo Tanner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Stark having to interfere. Teddy Bellamy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Tallahassee FC's Andy Ponce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anthony Stark narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teddy Bellamy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Stark having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Travis Bauman in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anthony Stark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute of the match, Cole Byers tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Fujieda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rubin Tovar hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George McClendon to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Travis Bauman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teddy Bellamy might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthony Stark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teddy Bellamy ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeff Arthur struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Anthony Stark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tallahassee FC. After 63 played minutes Canarsie Park Jets got a freekick which was hit by Matt Fowler. Travis Bauman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Anthony Stark made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Zackary Hare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cole Byers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canarsie Park Jets's supporters rose to their feet, but Cole Byers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Fujieda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Travis Bauman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Travis Bauman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tallahassee FC's Joaquin Fujieda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George McClendon in the 80th minute of play. Travis Bauman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Stark having to interfere. Reinaldo Tanner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Anthony Stark made a huge save. The supporters of Tallahassee FC booed when Canarsie Park Jets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kip Shapiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience held their breath when Travis Bauman in the 96th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Anthony Stark's left hand side. Tallahassee FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Canarsie Park Jets had won, even though Tallahassee FC had held more of the ball.
