A collision led to Arsenal Imitation F.C. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rey Villanueva hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Olathe's Rueben Epperson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Stanford Owen hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Curtis Alexander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stephen Hough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stephen Hough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Curtis Alexander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sporting Olathe's Benedict Owens in 32 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Curtis Alexander guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Benedict Owens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Stephen Hough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Alexander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephen Hough stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Raymundo Bonilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Stephen Hough's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Curtis Alexander was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s goalkeeper Curtis Alexander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nick Woodall in the 94th minute of play forced Sporting Olathe's goalkeeper Erik Gorman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephen Hough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
