After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Teddy Bellamy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tallahassee FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Bellamy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Curtis Alexander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick Woodall's late challenge caught a Tallahassee FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nick Woodall helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Nick Woodall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Travis Bauman came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Tallahassee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Travis Bauman couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute, Raymundo Bonilla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arsenal Imitation F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tallahassee FC's Travis Bauman got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 27 minutes of play, Tallahassee FC's Reinaldo Tanner made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Curtis Alexander was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jeff Arthur fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tallahassee FC's protests and gave Jeff Arthur a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tallahassee FC's Jeff Arthur got a free kick in the 30th minute. Devin Davila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Joaquin Fujieda made a huge save. In the 36th minute, Travis Bauman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tallahassee FC's Teddy Bellamy suffered a sore thigh after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s zone, Travis Bauman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Curtis Alexander came out of the goal and Travis Bauman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudolf Anthony fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Alexander having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Arthur in the 52nd minute of play forced Arsenal Imitation F.C.'s goalkeeper Curtis Alexander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd minute, Reinaldo Tanner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curtis Alexander was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jeff Arthur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Arsenal Imitation F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mario Moyer. Aldo Bacon shot from long distance in the 62nd minute, but Curtis Alexander was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Travis Bauman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Curtis Alexander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curtis Alexander was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reinaldo Tanner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 66 minute of play. Nick Woodall blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Fujieda having to make a save. In the 73rd minute Nick Woodall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Fujieda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marvin Harden kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Rudolf Anthony fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Alexander having to interfere. Jeff Arthur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 minutes, Raymundo Bonilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal Imitation F.C. and the Tallahassee FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Raymundo Bonilla hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Tallahassee FC's Aldo Bacon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Curtis Alexander but with some difficulty. Reinaldo Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Travis Bauman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tallahassee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Travis Bauman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Tallahassee FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arsenal Imitation F.C. throughout the match.
