Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonardo Pryor got the match started through his kick off. Leaders FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Hufnagel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hayden Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Excaliburs's Noah Newcomb got a free kick in the 6th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Leaders FC's Andy Dyer tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Meyer in the 10th minute of play forced Excaliburs's goalkeeper Adrian Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hayden Kitchen helped the player get up and apologised. Hayden Kitchen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Leonardo Pryor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silas Sanford read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Hayden Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Adrian Hicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Hicks made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Peter Hufnagel sent off a good shot on target. After 22 played minutes Excaliburs got a freekick which was hit by Tad Hahn. In the 26thth minute of the game Hayden Kitchen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Excaliburs's Adrian Hicks was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hayden Kitchen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Adrian Hicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Noah Newcomb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Hicks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayden Kitchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Roman De La Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Hicks having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Peter Hufnagel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Hicks was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Hayden Kitchen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hayden Kitchen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a little luck, Excaliburs's Adrian Hicks got control of the ball when Peter Hufnagel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th minute, Leaders FC's Hayden Kitchen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hayden Kitchen to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayden Kitchen in the 53rd minute of play forced Excaliburs's goalkeeper Adrian Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hayden Kitchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Leaders FC booed when Excaliburs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keenan Cutler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Hufnagel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Hicks having to interfere. Roman De La Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute, Hayden Kitchen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Hicks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hayden Kitchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Excaliburs's goal looked a bit too open when Hayden Kitchen came free, but Adrian Hicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Peter Hufnagel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Hicks saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Hicks made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Hufnagel in the 81st minute of play. Adrian Hicks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayden Kitchen in the 83rd minute of the match. Hayden Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Excaliburs's zone, Hayden Kitchen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Hicks came out of the goal and Hayden Kitchen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Hayden Kitchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leaders FC had played much better football throughout.
