Lawrence Esparza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hayden Kitchen showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 59 minute of play. The supporters of Leaders FC booed when Bunker Hill Village FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lawrence Esparza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Hufnagel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lawrence Esparza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hayden Kitchen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lawrence Esparza having to make a save. Lawrence Esparza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Hufnagel in the 96th minute. Bunker Hill Village FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
