Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Griffith having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Brice Corbett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Edmundo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edmundo Moreno's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Loren Griffith skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 31 minutes into the match, SOFISTIKATED FC's goal looked a bit too open when Olin Clement came free, but Loren Griffith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Edmundo Moreno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olin Clement to make the kick off. Saunders Blue Devils were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after SOFISTIKATED FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tom Dyer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Arthur Katz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Loren Griffith quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edmundo Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Griffith having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SOFISTIKATED FC's Rubin Emery threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quincy Bonner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jordan Orr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubin Emery having to interfere. Olin Clement received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Loren Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Ross Raines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOFISTIKATED FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saunders Blue Devils the free kick. In the 69th match minute, SOFISTIKATED FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ross Raines to maneuver through the defense.
