The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rich Burrows showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rich Burrows showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Huddleston, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute Darryl Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William DeJesus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rich Burrows made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Cabrera in the 21st minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Jonathon Beltran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's William DeJesus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robbie Odom hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Buitres F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Perry Huddleston came free, but Rich Burrows reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brandon Cabrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maxwell Brandon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of William DeJesus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 35 minutes of play, Buitres F.C.'s Maxwell Brandon made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William DeJesus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathon Beltran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maxwell Brandon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William DeJesus having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sterling Woodruff during the 83rd minute.
