The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tyrell Porter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alistair Maddox read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The supporters of BrkBcgn booed when La Habra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garth Valenzuela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enrique Hammer hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ward Hebert, 7 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Kyle May hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ellsworth Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nolan Courtney in the 11th minute of play. Terrell Crews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ellsworth Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nolan Courtney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ellsworth Johnson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Reuben Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, La Habra's Nolan Courtney dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, BrkBcgn's Tyrell Porter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alistair Maddox narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Hammer kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Alistair Maddox showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyrell Porter, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ellsworth Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Courtney in the 27th minute of the match. Alistair Maddox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Urbina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Habra's Alistair Maddox played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Urbina in the 34th minute of play. Mckinley Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alistair Maddox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BrkBcgn's goalkeeper Ellsworth Johnson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terrell Crews could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ellsworth Johnson made a huge save. After 48 played minutes Nolan Courtney rounded BrkBcgn's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tyrell Porter was the one to do the kick off. Tyrell Porter was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. BrkBcgn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Enrique Hammer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute Tyrell Porter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alistair Maddox saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th match minute, La Habra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kyle May to maneuver through the defense. If Frank Urbina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nolan Courtney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellsworth Johnson having to interfere. Nolan Courtney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ellsworth Johnson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terrell Crews struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ellsworth Johnson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Habra. Ellsworth Johnson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nolan Courtney in the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, La Habra's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrell Porter came free, but Alistair Maddox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as BrkBcgn's Tyrell Porter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alistair Maddox. That made the score 2-1 after 88 minutes of play. The supporters of BrkBcgn booed when La Habra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everett Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the BrkBcgn players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Habra.
