Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Asher Luther took the kick off in the first half of the match. When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rodger Mendoza sped through The Squatters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gavin Traylor. In the 8thth minute of the game Rodger Mendoza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Squatters's Gavin Traylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodger Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gavin Traylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of The Squatters booed when Texas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asher Luther didn't get a good kick on the ball. Asher Luther was in a good position and ended up with the ball after Texas FC's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. Kenneth Lloyd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without J.C. Sherwood having to interfere. After 32 minutes, Anthony Merritt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Texas FC and the The Squatters players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some careless play in the The Squatters defense, Rodger Mendoza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavin Traylor. The The Squatters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavin Traylor should have stopped the shot. Gavin Traylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodger Mendoza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Texas FC booed when The Squatters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Morin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute, Asher Luther left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Texas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kenneth Lloyd to make the kick off. The supporters of Texas FC booed when The Squatters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Morin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Texas FC's Rodger Mendoza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavin Traylor. Gavin Traylor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 63 minutes of play, Texas FC's Rodger Mendoza made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavin Traylor was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodger Mendoza in the 69th minute of play forced The Squatters's goalkeeper Gavin Traylor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Texas FC's Asher Luther nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavin Traylor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Gavin Traylor came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Texas FC's Rodger Mendoza. But to his dismay, Rodger Mendoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. In the 87th minute Rodger Mendoza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavin Traylor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Lloyd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Lloyd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without J.C. Sherwood having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Texas FC's Merrill Underwood got a free kick in the 94th minute. When Asher Luther came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Texas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Asher Luther couldn't finish the play.
