A collision led to Crucifyxae getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Milo Miles hit a great ball. After having played for 4 minutes, Waldo Vernon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sheffield Wednesday's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldo Vernon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldo Vernon in the 6th minute of play. Sheffield Wednesday's Sherwood Drake proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Sheffield Wednesday from getting a goal against them. In the 10th match minute, Sheffield Wednesday was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Elliot to maneuver through the defense. Sherwood Drake made an important save on a dangerous shot by Young Ragland in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Geoff Castillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sherwood Drake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoff Castillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Geoff Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sherwood Drake was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 30th minute of the game. One of Sheffield Wednesday:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Crucifyxae:s goal. A collision led to Crucifyxae getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edward Carrasco hit a great ball. Federico McLeod showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Pennington, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sherwood Drake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoff Castillo in the 38th minute of the match. Young Ragland took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sherwood Drake. Sherwood Drake dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Federico McLeod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ollie Pennington in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sherwood Drake came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Crucifyxae's Young Ragland. But to his dismay, Young Ragland quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ollie Pennington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Ragland in the 67th minute of play forced Sheffield Wednesday's goalkeeper Sherwood Drake to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Isidro Elliot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidro Elliot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. Sherwood Drake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff Castillo in the 79th minute of play. If Ollie Pennington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Crucifyxae defense, Ollie Pennington kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico McLeod. The Crucifyxae fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico McLeod should have stopped the shot.
