Federico McLeod took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Lay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Lay in the 13th minute of play forced Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daren Greer struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Federico McLeod didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA CLIPPERS. 18 minutes into the match, LA CLIPPERS's goalkeeper Geoff Walton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Young Ragland. If Josef Lay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josef Lay in the 22nd minute of play forced Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Geoff Castillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Geoff Walton. The goal made the score 2-0. When Josef Lay came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the LA CLIPPERS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josef Lay couldn't finish the play. Josef Lay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico McLeod having to interfere. Federico McLeod showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daren Greer in the 42nd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Crucifyxae's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Lay came free, but Federico McLeod reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daren Greer was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Young Ragland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crucifyxae's supporters crossed their fingers, but Young Ragland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Milo Miles during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Crucifyxae got a freekick which was hit by Milo Miles. In the 57th minute, Wilbur Farr sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Crucifyxae's Federico McLeod didn't even have to move. If Daren Greer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daren Greer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Geoff Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the game, Young Ragland cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Geoff Walton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 76 played minutes LA CLIPPERS got a freekick which was hit by Daren Seay. Young Ragland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geoff Walton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoff Castillo in the 78th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Crucifyxae's goalkeeper Federico McLeod had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josef Lay. Daren Greer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Federico McLeod tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Daren Greer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Federico McLeod. Daren Greer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. Many of LA CLIPPERS's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. LA CLIPPERS may have spent more time on the ball, but Crucifyxae were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
