Spectators: 7691 (Terracing: 5769, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Noel Crews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ron Winn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noel Crews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Winn in the 9th minute of the match. Marvin Kuhn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes, Winfred Burgos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Manuel and the Fire FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, San Manuel's Winfred Burgos got a free kick in the 14th minute. Vincenzo Cronshagen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Winfred Burgos's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 19 minutes of play, San Manuel's Alexis Strickland made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincenzo Cronshagen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ron Winn scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Crews, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Winfred Burgos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Vincenzo Cronshagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Winfred Burgos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Manuel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfred Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Fire FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 42 minutes, Winfred Burgos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Manuel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfred Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Winn in the 45th minute of play forced San Manuel's goalkeeper Noel Crews to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 58th minute Winfred Burgos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Cronshagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Winfred Burgos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 68 minutes, Winfred Burgos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Manuel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Winfred Burgos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marvin Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Crews having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Fire FC's goal looked a bit too open when Winfred Burgos came free, but Vincenzo Cronshagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Fire FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Wilkinson. In the 82nd minute, Garth Rowley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute of the match Rick Herget shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincenzo Cronshagen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Winfred Burgos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Fire FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jude Franco hit a great ball. Vincenzo Cronshagen came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by San Manuel's Winfred Burgos. But to his dismay, Winfred Burgos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Fire FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
