Edgardo Burris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ned Metz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Danny McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Choctaw's zone, Boyd Watt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Burris came out of the goal and Boyd Watt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moses Miner to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dobby Dogs FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Max Major hit a great ball. After having played for 53 minutes, Josiah Forrest managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Choctaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Josiah Forrest was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ned Metz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Burris having to interfere. Johnson Earl made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Josiah Forrest sent off a good shot on target. Dobby Dogs FC's Ned Metz collided with an opponent after 73 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his leg. Ferdinand Carmona charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferdinand Carmona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
