The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Solomon Campos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Santa Clarita Currents protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Solomon Campos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Santa Clarita Currents fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Villa madero f.c. Calvin Bonilla stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rolland Sanders. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Curt Wilcox in the 18th minute of play forced Santa Clarita Currents's goalkeeper Rolland Sanders to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Clarita Currents's zone, Monte Cavazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolland Sanders came out of the goal and Monte Cavazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santa Clarita Currents's Rolland Sanders proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Clarita Currents from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Jack Wray left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa madero f.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 65 minutes into the game, Bradly Blackwell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Clarita Currents's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa madero f.c the free kick. The supporters of Villa madero f.c booed when Santa Clarita Currents was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradly Blackwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Santa Clarita Currents's goal looked a bit too open when Monte Cavazos came free, but Rolland Sanders reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jack Wray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Rolland Sanders made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Bradly Blackwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Tracy William managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa madero f.c's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tracy William was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santa Clarita Currents's Rolland Sanders played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugh Meyer in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jack Wray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa madero f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Wray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolland Sanders breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Curt Wilcox kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolland Sanders. That made the score 0-4 in the 90 minute of play. Rolland Sanders took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugh Meyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villa madero f.c's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
