Spectators: 5003 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1001, VIP seats: 1) After having played for 4 minutes, Danny McElroy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dobby Dogs FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Danny McElroy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Danny McElroy got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Johnson Earl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ron Winn in the 15th minute of play. Ned Metz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 18 played minutes Fire FC got a freekick which was hit by Garth Rowley. Vincenzo Cronshagen came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Dobby Dogs FC's Danny McElroy. But to his dismay, Danny McElroy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Dobby Dogs FC's Johnson Earl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron Winn in the 27th minute of play. Johnson Earl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Winn, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Johnson Earl came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Fire FC's Ron Winn. But to his dismay, Ron Winn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. With a little luck, Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen got control of the ball when Danny McElroy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ned Metz in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Danny McElroy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincenzo Cronshagen. Fire FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny McElroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Fire FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ron Winn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marvin Kuhn got free with Johnson Earl in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fire FC's Vincenzo Cronshagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danny McElroy in the 61st minute of play. Dobby Dogs FC's Boyd Watt pulled a muscle in his back after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 73rd match minute, Fire FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kelly Rucker to maneuver through the defense. Danny McElroy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Cronshagen having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Ron Winn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fire FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Winn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Danny McElroy took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincenzo Cronshagen. Vincenzo Cronshagen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. After 92 played minutes Dobby Dogs FC got a freekick which was hit by Ned Metz. Marvin Kuhn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnson Earl having to interfere. Marvin Kuhns short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Johnson Earl to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dobby Dogs FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
