After some careless play in the San Manuel defense, Otis Humphries kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Crews. The San Manuel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Crews should have stopped the shot. Thomas Cahill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Noel Crews took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Cahill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. New Stanton AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
