Deon Kimbrough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Solomon Jimenez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deon Kimbrough showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Kane in the 9th minute of the match. Tomas Kane succeeded in the game's 10th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Union's Deon Kimbrough played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Kane in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Solomon Jimenez in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deon Kimbrough saved Union from getting behind. Brant Rosas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, LOL's Tracy Faulk tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Tomas Kane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deon Kimbrough saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Tomas Kane managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOL's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Kane was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deon Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, one of Union:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Union. Tomas Kane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Kimbrough having to interfere. Tomas Kane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LOL's Adolfo Blackburn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save LOL from getting a goal against them. Adolfo Blackburn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvis Willett in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanton Glenn in the 48th minute of play forced LOL's goalkeeper Adolfo Blackburn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Union players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LOL were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanton Glenn made a kick off. When Donald York came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Union fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald York couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind LOL's goalkeeper Adolfo Blackburn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Solomon Jimenez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Deon Kimbrough firmly grabbed it by the left post. Deon Kimbrough didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. Stanton Glenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Blackburn having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Stanton Glenn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Union fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. The Union supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LOL's performance. The match ended with a win for LOL.
