Bernardo Childers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosario Sylvester, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stephen Nava in the 38th minute of play forced RealBarca's goalkeeper Bernardo Childers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Whitmore Lake's John Barry got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Randall Kim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradly Paris skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the RealBarca defense, Rosario Sylvester kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardo Childers. The RealBarca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardo Childers should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rosario Sylvester stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Willard Wright's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradly Paris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Willard Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RealBarca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willard Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Junior Easley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute of the match Randall Kim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradly Paris showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. RealBarca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Stephen Nava scored to the left of an out of position Bernardo Childers, making the score, 0-2. A collision led to RealBarca getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fabian Clifton hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Clifton during the 86th minute.
