Spectators: 6650 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 150) When Domenic Marrero fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kapaa FC's protests and gave Domenic Marrero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th minute, Jessie Dunn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kapaa FC's Morgan Woodall didn't even have to move. Stanton Glenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Woodall having to interfere. Stanton Glenn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Morgan Woodall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Morgan Woodall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donald York in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kapaa FC's Dalton Holley got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Domenic Marrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jessie Dunn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Morgan Woodall. Kapaa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deon Kimbrough didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rueben Smiley went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Donald York scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Morgan Woodall, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanton Glenn made a kick off. If Elvis Willett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. During the 55th minute of the match Domenic Marrero completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Domenic Marrero a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 56 played minutes Kapaa FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenic Marrero. Donald York came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Morgan Woodall could save by the left post. 60 minutes into the game, Stanton Glenn recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Morgan Woodall. Stanton Glenn showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Rueben Smiley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kapaa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rueben Smiley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deon Kimbrough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanton Glenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donald York received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Morgan Woodall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Woodall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanton Glenn in the 77th minute of play. If Stanton Glenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 88 minutes, Stanton Glenn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Union's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanton Glenn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Stanton Glenn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Morgan Woodall. The goal made the score 1-3. 94 minutes into the game, Geoff Tolbert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kapaa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Union the free kick. 95 minutes into the match, Union's Jessie Dunn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
