Pascal Le Van started the match with the kick off. If Leland Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Morgan Woodall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Stiles in the 10th minute of play. If Donny Stiles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Leland Puckett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rueben Smiley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leland Puckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Morgan Woodall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Donny Stiles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donny Stiles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Nice's Leland Puckett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Woodall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31st minute Blair Day shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Woodall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Woodall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donny Stiles in the 32nd minute of play. Rueben Smiley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Blackwell having to interfere. Blair Day struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Morgan Woodall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nice. After a rather tough play, Kapaa FC's Geoff Tolbert got a free kick in the 44th minute. A collision led to Kapaa FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rueben Smiley hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leland Puckett to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Kapaa FC's zone, Donny Stiles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Woodall came out of the goal and Donny Stiles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nice's Rudolph Cervantes got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leland Puckett who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Morgan Woodall when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blair Day sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th play minute Leland Puckett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Morgan Woodall. 0-2. The Nice fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Nice's Blair Day looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Blair Day had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 81 minutes into the match, Kapaa FC's goalkeeper Morgan Woodall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Blair Day. Blair Day sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leland Puckett came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Nice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leland Puckett couldn't finish the play. Donny Stiles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leland Puckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Morgan Woodall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Kapaa FC's goalkeeper Morgan Woodall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leland Puckett. Morgan Woodall made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Leland Puckett sent off a good shot on target. The Kapaa FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nice were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
