Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cochituate's Elliot Gallegos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rex Levine in the 7th minute of play. Brad Gee thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Emmitt Myers, a very annoying self made goal in the 10th minute which led to 0-1. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Elliot Gallegos got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Cochituate hanging dry this time. Elliot Gallegos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rex Levine's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. If Chad Whitman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 28 minutes, Vito Nixon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cochituate and the Armona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Cochituate got a freekick which was hit by Vito Nixon. 33 minutes into the match, Armona's goal looked a bit too open when Chad Whitman came free, but Emmitt Myers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bryan Espinosa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cochituate's Elliot Gallegos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Cochituate from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Rex Levine dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Elliot Gallegos, 2-1. Bryan Espinosa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chad Whitman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chad Whitman struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Emmitt Myers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochituate. In the 68th minute, Sherman Abernathy made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Gallegos. Cochituate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Bryan Espinosa fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Armona's protests and gave Bryan Espinosa a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Armona getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Bryan Espinosa hit a great ball. Walter Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Emmitt Myers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego McKnight's late challenge caught a Cochituate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego McKnight helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Armona! After a defensive mix-up in Armona's zone, Chad Whitman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emmitt Myers came out of the goal and Chad Whitman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clay Blanton kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sherman Abernathy in the 85th minute of play forced Cochituate's goalkeeper Elliot Gallegos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cochituate's Ferdinand Combs got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cochituate players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Armona.
