Peter Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Babcock in the 4th minute of the match. Peter Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garrett Conway, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes in the game, Lee Whitney fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dean Aldrich having to interfere. Quentin Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Aldrich having to interfere. Peter Cuevas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dane Roland in the 16th minute of play. Dean Aldrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quentin Marshall in the 19th minute of the match. Peter Cuevas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dane Roland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, New Whiteland FC's Quentin Marshall dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dane Roland during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rio Grande do Sul Macaws getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Dane Roland hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Dane Roland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Garrett Conway's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Cuevas was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Quincy Burks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garrett Conway in the 40th minute of play forced New Whiteland FC's goalkeeper Peter Cuevas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's Dean Aldrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Marshall in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nathaniel Babcock was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Gregg Cabourne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Cuevas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Quincy Burks's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dean Aldrich was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's goal looked a bit too open when Quincy Burks came free, but Dean Aldrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, Quentin Marshall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Quincy Burks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's Dean Aldrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Marshall in the 80th minute of play. Quentin Marshall took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dean Aldrich. Dean Aldrich dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 88th match minute, Rio Grande do Sul Macaws was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolland Workman to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute, Quentin Marshall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Aldrich was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
