To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bo Engel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chad Whitman in the 5th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Chad Whitman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chandler AFC's Bo Engel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Hogan's late challenge caught a Chandler AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Hogan helped the player get up and apologised. Lucas Hogan hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Bo Engel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chad Whitman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bo Engel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chad Whitman in the 37th minute of the match. Bo Engel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chad Whitman in the 39th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Cochituate got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinand Combs. Ray Becker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 42ndth minute, Elliot Gallegos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Cochituate's Walter Loomis in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chandler AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Walter Loomis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cochituate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Octavio Egan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Gallegos having to interfere. Elliot Gallegos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Egan in the 83rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Ray Becker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chandler AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ray Becker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliot Gallegos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the match, Chad Whitman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bo Engel, 0-3. In the 90th minute, Vito Nixon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Walter Loomis notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chandler AFC's Bo Engel. Bo Engel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Chandler AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cochituate's performance. The match ended with a win for Cochituate.
