Rudolph Youngblood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brice Carrington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rudolph Youngblood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brice Carrington in the 14th minute of the match. Rudolph Youngblood didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elias West went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Rudolph Youngblood made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias West in the 25th minute of play. Brice Carrington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Praetorians's zone, Brice Carrington stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Youngblood came out of the goal and Brice Carrington tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Canastota FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Mendez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a long run with the ball, Gilberto Mendez did a trick in the 53rd minute in front of Canastota FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-3. An impressive performance by Praetorians's Gilberto Mendez! After some careless play in the Praetorians defense, Elias West kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rudolph Youngblood. The Praetorians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rudolph Youngblood should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Canastota FC's Brice Carrington ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rudolph Youngblood. Rudolph Youngblood yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. Gilberto Mendez struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Brian Whaley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Praetorians. Brice Carrington fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Praetorians's zone, Elias West stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Youngblood came out of the goal and Elias West tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias West got free with Rudolph Youngblood in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Rudolph Youngblood successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Elias West fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Brice Carrington got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Canastota FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
