The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octavio Egan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. The referee gave Chandler AFC a penalty, 18 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tracy Ricks, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's Dean Aldrich. 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Ray Becker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chandler AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ray Becker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ray Becker might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dean Aldrich. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ray Becker ran back to his position shaking his head. Octavio Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chandler AFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Dean Campbell hit a great ball. When Ray Becker came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chandler AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ray Becker couldn't finish the play. Garrett Conway blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo Engel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Babcock in the 44th minute of play forced Chandler AFC's goalkeeper Bo Engel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bo Engel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Babcock in the 49th minute of the match.

Garrett Conway who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Bo Engel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Rio Grande do Sul Macaws's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Egan came free, but Dean Aldrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 58 minutes, Garrett Conway managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 75th minute Ray Becker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Aldrich saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nathaniel Babcock blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bo Engel having to make a save. Garrett Conway could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Bo Engel made a huge save. Chandler AFC's Bo Engel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garrett Conway in the 90th minute of play. Dean Campbell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Aldrich having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Octavio Egan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dean Aldrich was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Chandler AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
