The referee ignored Wyckoff Torpedoes's protests and gave Rickie Grady a yellow card for diving instead. Rickie Grady kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Doug Hewitt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brendon Reeder having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Wyckoff Torpedoes's Dominique Coleman got a free kick in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Doug Hewitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendon Reeder was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Myles Beltran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brendon Reeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Jameson in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of El Paso FC booed when Wyckoff Torpedoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Padilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pascal Kennedy's late challenge caught a El Paso FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascal Kennedy helped the player get up and apologised. When El Paso FC's Doug Hewitt in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Domenico Marin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hunter Bell having to make a save. Doug Hewitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half El Paso FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doug Hewitt to strike the kick off in the second half. The nice shot from Doug Hewitt in the 58thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Brendon Reeder had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 63rd minute, Myles Beltran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Doug Hewitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Wyckoff Torpedoes's goal looked a bit too open when Doug Hewitt came free, but Brendon Reeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of El Paso FC booed when Wyckoff Torpedoes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domenico Marin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doug Hewitt in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brendon Reeder, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Myles Beltran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brendon Reeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Doug Hewitt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Brendon Reeder when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Franklin Padilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, El Paso FC's Myles Beltran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brendon Reeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brendon Reeder was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Myles Beltran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Myles Beltran really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Doug Hewitt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Brendon Reeder skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. El Paso FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
