After 10 played minutes North tijuana got a freekick which was hit by Rupert Britt. 17 minutes into the match, Derrick Everett notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Praetorians's Rudolph Youngblood. Rudolph Youngblood was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the match, North tijuana's Truman Medina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudolph Youngblood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Derrick Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. A collision led to Praetorians getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Moises Jimenez hit a great ball. When Truman Medina came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the North tijuana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Truman Medina couldn't finish the play. Derrick Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. In the 32nd minute Truman Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Youngblood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Praetorians's zone, Truman Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rudolph Youngblood came out of the goal and Truman Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rupert Britt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. Derrick Everett struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Rudolph Youngblood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North tijuana. In the 44th minute, Praetorians's Gilberto Mendez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brad Fulton. Brad Fulton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Derrick Everett to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Mendez during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wiley Tompkins was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Praetorians's Alvin Driver got a free kick in the 57th minute. Derrick Everett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolph Youngblood having to interfere. In the 61st minute Truman Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolph Youngblood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Truman Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Rudolph Youngblood tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 69 in the game by Truman Medina from a close distance when the talented Rudolph Youngblood managed to make a qualified save. Praetorians's players were relieved. The crowd rose to their feet as North tijuana's Derrick Everett slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rudolph Youngblood. That made the score 1-3 after 73 minutes of play. After 76 played minutes North tijuana got a freekick which was hit by Tanner Long. Rudolph Youngblood didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rupert Britt went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Rudolph Youngblood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Derrick Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Praetorians getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gilberto Mendez hit a great ball. In the 89th minute, Derrick Everett reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rudolph Youngblood. The goal made the score 1-5. In the 95th minute, Derrick Everett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
