Alexander Hebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Giles in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when The Alliance Fc's Jim Luna fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Roderick Gipson charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roderick Gipson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th minute, Roderick Gipson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilber Wong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lazaro Renteria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaro Renteria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deon Alonzo in the 22nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, The Alliance Fc's Phillip Egan got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Deon Alonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilber Wong struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Lazaro Renteria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Asante Kototo. If Deon Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deon Alonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Renteria having to interfere. Asante Kototo's Wilber Wong got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilber Wong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Lazaro Renteria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jim Luna to strike the kick off in the second half. Lazaro Renteria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Alonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Jim Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deon Alonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Wilber Wong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asante Kototo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Wong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaro Renteria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deon Alonzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Renteria having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Wilber Wong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deon Alonzo in the 76th minute of play forced The Alliance Fc's goalkeeper Lazaro Renteria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilber Wong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th minute, Deon Alonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lazaro Renteria was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert got control of the ball when Jim Giles tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 85 minutes, Jim Giles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Alliance Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jim Giles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilber Wong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Renteria having to interfere. Norman Tran kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Asante Kototo's Deon Alonzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lazaro Renteria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
