The audience was convinced that Rene Hanson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosario Harman was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After 15 played minutes Huntersville got a freekick which was hit by Vern Milton. After 18 minutes, Randall Paulson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huntersville and the Little Elm FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Randall Paulson hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sidney Vaughn in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rosario Harman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sidney Vaughn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Rosario Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntersville's goalkeeper Rosario Harman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rene Hanson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Harman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Huntersville's Rosario Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Hanson in the 60th minute of play.
