Rene Hanson struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Lazaro Renteria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Little Elm FC. In the 22nd minute, Randall Lujan had to leave the field with a concussion. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Rene Hanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Elm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Hanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lazaro Renteria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th match minute, The Alliance Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Tran to maneuver through the defense. Rene Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazaro Renteria having to interfere. After 34 played minutes Rene Hanson rounded The Alliance Fc's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lazaro Renteria narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 44 minutes, Sidney Vaughn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Elm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidney Vaughn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rene Hanson was the one to do the kick off. Jim Giles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Archie Lacy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lazaro Renteria showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Hanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 62 played minutes The Alliance Fc got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Hickey. Lazaro Renteria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Hanson in the 63rd minute of the match. Sidney Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Little Elm FC's Sidney Vaughn got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rene Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Little Elm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abe Medina to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Jim Giles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Archie Lacy. Little Elm FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jim Giles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Lazaro Renteria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Polk in the 83rd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, The Alliance Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Abe Medina came free, but Lazaro Renteria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Alliance Fc's zone, Sidney Vaughn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazaro Renteria came out of the goal and Sidney Vaughn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Polk kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Little Elm FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
