Rene Hanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Hebert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Hanson ran back to his position shaking his head. Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Vaughn in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Asante Kototo's zone, Sidney Vaughn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Hebert came out of the goal and Sidney Vaughn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emery Pagan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Little Elm FC's zone, Wilber Wong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Archie Lacy came out of the goal and Wilber Wong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Little Elm FC's Archie Lacy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Alonzo in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Deon Alonzo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Archie Lacy. That made the score 2-1 in the 89 minute of play. Abe Medina charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abe Medina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Little Elm FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Abe Medina hit a great ball. Asante Kototo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
