Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rene Hanson made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Rene Hanson made a precise shot to the right of Dallas Grove. Thousand Oaks's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 7th match minute, Little Elm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Randall Lujan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Hanson in the 9th minute of play forced Thousand Oaks's goalkeeper Dallas Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Grove took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Vaughn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thousand Oaks's Dallas Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Hanson in the 11th minute of play. Dallas Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abe Medina in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Hanson in the 14th minute of play forced Thousand Oaks's goalkeeper Dallas Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dallas Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney Vaughn in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Little Elm FC's Sidney Vaughn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dallas Grove made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Dallas Grove showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Hanson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Dallas Grove made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Vaughn in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randall Lujan in the 24th minute of play forced Thousand Oaks's goalkeeper Dallas Grove to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abe Medina took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dallas Grove. Dallas Grove dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when Richie Hickman put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Little Elm FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Thousand Oaks. Rodolfo Fuller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Archie Lacy. 1-4. Dallas Grove came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson. But to his dismay, Rene Hanson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Rene Hanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dallas Grove having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rene Hanson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Little Elm FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Hanson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dallas Grove breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Abe Medina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dallas Grove was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Fuller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 60 minutes into the match, Thousand Oaks's goal looked a bit too open when David Polk came free, but Dallas Grove reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Hanson might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dallas Grove. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Hanson ran back to his position shaking his head. Dallas Grove was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abe Medina showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 63 minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Rene Hanson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Thousand Oaks's Dallas Grove was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dallas Grove showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Hanson in the 68th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Little Elm FC's Randall Lujan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dallas Grove. That made the score 1-8 after 72 minutes of play. Little Elm FC's Rene Hanson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Randall Lujan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Little Elm FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Dallas Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Hanson's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. If Rene Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Abe Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Little Elm FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abe Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Thousand Oaks's Jake Frye got a free kick in the 91st minute. Damon Anthony hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
