Spectators: 7696 (Terracing: 5773, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) Asante Kototo's Deon Alonzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rob Goddard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Alexander Hebert skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roscoe Landrum kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jamel Bentley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deon Alonzo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Jamel Bentley came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Asante Kototo's Deon Alonzo. But to his dismay, Deon Alonzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Willy Hale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alexander Hebert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Wilber Wong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asante Kototo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Wong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jamel Bentley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Deon Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kalala FC's Jamel Bentley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Alonzo in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Asante Kototo's Bo Neely got a free kick in the 39th minute. Willy Hale had several of the Asante Kototo's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Alexander Hebert as he didn't even see the shot coming. Wilber Wong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Norris got free with Jamel Bentley in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bo Neely during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Asante Kototo getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bo Neely hit a great ball. Wilber Wong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Wilber Wong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Jamel Bentley made a huge save. If Deon Alonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Asante Kototo's goal looked a bit too open when Willy Hale came free, but Alexander Hebert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 minutes of play, Kalala FC's Son Hedrick made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Hebert was left in no man's land by his defense there! Deon Alonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jamel Bentley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deon Alonzo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wilber Wong came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Asante Kototo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilber Wong couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Asante Kototo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
