Rosario Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Cerna, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Rodrick Cerna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Harman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Huntersville's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Cerna came free, but Rosario Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Adolfo Schmitt made a precise shot to the right of Rosario Harman. Huntersville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 21st minute, Rodrick Cerna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barnwell's Rodrick Cerna got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Don Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Masters in the 36th minute. After having played for 38 minutes, Vern Milton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huntersville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vern Milton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barnwell's zone, Carlos Masters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Don Doyle came out of the goal and Carlos Masters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Huntersville's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Cerna came free, but Rosario Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Masters made a kick off. Rosario Harman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdul Thomson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rosario Harman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrick Cerna in the 56th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Huntersville's zone, Rodrick Cerna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rosario Harman came out of the goal and Rodrick Cerna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Huntersville's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Cerna came free, but Rosario Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Schmitt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rosario Harman made a huge save. Adolfo Schmitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarrod Bates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosario Harman having to interfere. Barnwell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
