Spectators: 5654 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 154) Lions FC's Sung Conrad started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Asante Kototo's Wilber Wong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Korey Conley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Sung Conrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Hebert having to interfere. A collision led to Asante Kototo getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bo Neely hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sung Conrad sped through Asante Kototo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alexander Hebert. In the 18th minute, Donovan York got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexander Hebert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sung Conrad in the 20th minute of play. Lions FC's Korey Conley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deon Alonzo in the 24th minute of play. Wilber Wong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sung Conrad took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Hebert. Alexander Hebert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Lions FC's Sung Conrad managed to work through Asante Kototo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Sung Conrad dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emery Kearns in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Asante Kototo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Emery Pagan hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deon Alonzo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Roderick Gipson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asante Kototo's supporters rose to their feet, but Roderick Gipson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korey Conley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilber Wong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korey Conley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. If Denver Thome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korey Conley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilber Wong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deon Alonzo in the 63rd minute of play forced Lions FC's goalkeeper Korey Conley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilber Wong kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Sung Conrad made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Asante Kototo's Alexander Hebert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emery Pagan hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd match minute, Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sung Conrad to maneuver through the defense. Deon Alonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Korey Conley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Alexander Hebert managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Lions FC's Sung Conrad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexander Hebert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sung Conrad's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Alexander Hebert made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Sung Conrad sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, Wilber Wong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korey Conley came out of the goal and Wilber Wong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Wilber Wong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asante Kototo's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilber Wong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korey Conley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
