Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nathaniel Boyer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Marshall Carney charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marshall Carney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, Weehawken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marshall Carney to maneuver through the defense. If Altan Ağca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Masters kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Huntersville's goal looked a bit too open when King Swenson came free, but Rosario Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huntersville's Daryl Deering got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Ty Colbert sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huntersville's Rosario Harman didn't even have to move. 18 minutes into the match, Huntersville's goal looked a bit too open when Nathaniel Boyer came free, but Rosario Harman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Huntersville's Randall Paulson got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Carlos Masters recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Vern Milton fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huntersville's protests and gave Vern Milton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Vern Milton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute Nathaniel Boyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vern Milton got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 37th match minute, Huntersville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vern Milton to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute of the match Ty Colbert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosario Harman skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Carlos Masters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huntersville's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Masters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dustin Baltazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. King Swenson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rosario Harman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Huntersville's Daryl Deering got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huntersville's goalkeeper Rosario Harman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute Nathaniel Boyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosario Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Weehawken's Nathaniel Boyer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. King Swenson struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rosario Harman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weehawken. In the 61st minute, King Swenson made a precise shot to the right of Rosario Harman. Huntersville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by King Swenson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Huntersville's Randall Paulson got a free kick in the 67th minute. Nathaniel Boyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rosario Harman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rosario Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Boyer in the 71st minute of the match. King Swenson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Rosario Harman made a huge save. Carlos Masters kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Nathaniel Boyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosario Harman made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when King Swenson sent off a good shot on target. Huntersville's Rosario Harman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Boyer in the 97th minute of play.
