In the 6th match minute, Little Elm FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Hickman to maneuver through the defense. Randall Lujan charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randall Lujan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Little Elm FC's Randall Lujan got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Lions FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Porter Shipp hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sung Conrad got free with Archie Lacy in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Hanson in the 26th minute of play forced Lions FC's goalkeeper Korey Conley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sung Conrad came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Archie Lacy could save by the left post. Donovan York fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Lacy having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Sung Conrad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sung Conrad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Archie Lacy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Rene Hanson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korey Conley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 45 minutes of play Little Elm FC's Richie Hickman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 46 played minutes Little Elm FC got a freekick which was hit by Richie Hickman. A long shot from Shayne Becker in the 48th minute of play was well struck, but Archie Lacy made a really good save at the right post. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, Sung Conrad notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Little Elm FC's Archie Lacy. Archie Lacy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rene Hanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Korey Conley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Archie Lacy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sung Conrad's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Eliseo Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lions FC's zone, Rene Hanson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korey Conley came out of the goal and Rene Hanson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Korey Conley didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sung Conrad in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Archie Lacy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Sung Conrad sped through Little Elm FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Archie Lacy. Sung Conrad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Archie Lacy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Sung Conrad made a precise shot to the right of Archie Lacy. Little Elm FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. If Rene Hanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
