Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daren Price made the kick off which started today's match. Lloyd Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacey Day having to interfere. Gerardo Shields came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Akademia De Futbol's Daren Price. But to his dismay, Daren Price quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Steger AFC's Gerardo Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Carmichael in the 12th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Daren Price ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Shields was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute Rigoberto Carmichael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Shields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daren Price in the 26th minute of play forced Steger AFC's goalkeeper Gerardo Shields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 minutes, Geoff Harmon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akademia De Futbol and the Steger AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Akademia De Futbol's Geoff Harmon got a free kick in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Blaine Manuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steger AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaine Manuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stacey Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Carmichael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Shields showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daren Price in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Blaine Manuel to make the kick off. 0-3 became the score in the 57th minute when Rigoberto Carmichael elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blaine Manuel in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stacey Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 75 played minutes Steger AFC got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Gillis. 78 minutes into the game, Blaine Manuel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steger AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Akademia De Futbol the free kick. A collision led to Steger AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Blaine Manuel hit a great ball. Daren Price hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Tyrell Hackett hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Sterling Owens struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Stacey Day didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Steger AFC. Gerardo Shields made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Carmichael in the 90th minute. Daren Price struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute.
