Spectators: 7692 (Terracing: 5770, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 153) Percy Crenshaw started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Crenshaw in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brett Serrano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney Wolfe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Serrano having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Percy Crenshaw who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Amherst's Brett Serrano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Wolfe in the 22nd minute of play forced North Amherst's goalkeeper Brett Serrano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavin Moreland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rocco Atkinson in the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to Beach getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sal Jolly hit a great ball. Rob Pelletier struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Gavin Moreland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Amherst. In the 36th minute Rocco Atkinson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavin Moreland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rocco Atkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Wolfe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Brett Serrano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Renato Triplett kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Rob Pelletier hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rocco Atkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavin Moreland having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Beach got a freekick which was hit by Landon Dahlstrom. If Rob Pelletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Pelletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rocco Atkinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. After 72 minutes of play, North Amherst's Rob Pelletier made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavin Moreland was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Renato Triplett fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beach's protests and gave Renato Triplett a yellow card for diving instead. Brett Serrano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sydney Wolfe in the 84th minute. Gavin Moreland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocco Atkinson in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Beach getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. North Amherst's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
