A collision led to Galt AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rudolf Cadena hit a great ball. If Rico Lacey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javier Burroughs hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Silas Coulter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. Galt AFC's Ace Green proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Galt AFC from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Cadena got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rudolf Cadena hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Ace Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose McNair, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Ace Green made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Rico Lacey sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

58 minutes into the match, Dark Tide's Rico Lacey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ace Green narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Dark Tide booed when Galt AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiley Shepard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darnell Wood's late challenge caught a Galt AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darnell Wood helped the player get up and apologised. Darnell Wood kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ace Green showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose McNair, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Rico Lacey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galt AFC's goalkeeper Ace Green, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 70 minutes of play, Dark Tide's Jose McNair made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ace Green was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ace Green made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rico Lacey in the 77th minute of play. After 77 minutes, Javier Burroughs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galt AFC and the Dark Tide players grew even worse after the yellow card. 82 minutes in the game, Manuel Gonzalez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jackson Woodward having to interfere. When Rico Lacey came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Dark Tide fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rico Lacey couldn't finish the play. Jose McNair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ace Green having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Galt AFC's zone, Rico Lacey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ace Green came out of the goal and Rico Lacey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galt AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
