The supporters of North Amherst booed when Tara Hills was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Blanchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. North Amherst's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocco Atkinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domenic Gauthier hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 67 minutes into the match, Rocco Atkinson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rex Ambriz. Tara Hills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rocco Atkinson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 70thth minute of the game Riley Thurston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but North Amherst's Brett Serrano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Duke Latham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tara Hills's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Amherst the free kick.
